We’ve been working in partnership with Team Locals over the last year to help us further market Gunwharf Quays both locally and beyond with great success. They’ve helped us bring to life the centre through a number of feature videos as well as continuing to create, share and promote various content that helps us reach more of our audience when we need to. I would recommend Team Locals to any business looking to increase their marketing activity and grow their reach in the Portsmouth and surrounding area, and we’re looking forward to continuing our successful partnership.
— Ian Bayne, Marketing Manager at Gunwharf Quays

Our relationship with Gunwharf Quays ignited near the end of 2015, when they started using the Team Locals website to promote their news, events, and offers, including [deep breath] their fireworks extravaganza and its special musical guest, festive rock choir, push for mood-boosting healthy dishes, 15th birthday celebrations and competition, Mother's Day dining opportunities, Easter family activities, supercar takeover, Carluccio's opera evening, Nike running club, Bella Italia launch, CycleFest, and RC44 Championship Tour fleet [exhale].

Gunwharf quickly took notice of our other services, including photography and filmmaking, and commissioned us to make a series of short films, starting with a promo for the firecracker chicken at Wagamama:

Then, when the America's Cup World Series Portsmouth returned to the city for its second year in 2016, we had the opportunity to work with Gunwharf and our friends at Land Rover BAR, when they brought the Land Rover Experience to Gunwharf's Plaza. The temporary attraction gave visitors the chance to be driven around a miniature obstacle course in a Land Rover, seeing off-roading features of the vehicles in action:

Shortly after, we produced two more short films, for Brasserie Blanc and Coast to Coast:

As well as a time lapse video showcasing the wider shopping centre. All of these videos were shared broadly across our social media, and Gunwharf Quays' social media, to a combined audience of hundreds of thousands of people regionally and nationally. We stayed in close contact with Gunwharf during the shooting, editing, and publishing stints of production, to ensure they were receiving content which went hand-in-hand with their brand.

With a firm foodie foundation formed, we next focused on fashion, working with designer clothing outlet stores in Gunwharf Quays to showcase some of the outfits on offer at the shopping centre. Our model was the lovely Tanahya. Here's a selection of the photos:
